In addition to entering the Visitors Center so you can see and learn about the desert plants and wildlife that inhabit the area, your tour also includes a drive through the 13 mile scenic loop where you will make a couple of stops to enjoy the beauty of the area and snap a picture or two.
After viewing this colorful high-desert terrain, you will understand why it is one of the best rock climbing areas in the world. Have your camera ready, as you may see some of the wild burrows that inhabit the area. You will also drive by one of our more famous residential communities - Summerlin - which was founded by Howard Hughes.
