Liberace Museum
The Liberace Museum in Las Vegas has tried to capture those very parts of the legend that is Liberace, and was founded by Liberace himself in 1979.
The Liberace Museum in Las Vegas captures the glitz and showmanship of Liberace through two buildings of exhibis. The museum is not-for-profit, and the revenue goes to support the Liberace Foundation for the Performing and Creative Arts, which supports all kinds of artistic scholarships and grants. The museum is divided into two sections. The first section is Building One, and is home to one-of-a-kind pianos, including the one Liberace called his favorite.
Also in Building One is Liberace's exotic car collection. Building Two contains items from Liberace's colorful, extravagant costume collection and costume jewelry. Liberace's flair is seen everywhere throughout the museum, and you will not only see a lot of sparkle and shine, you will learn about Liberace's important contributions and achievements in the world of music. So venture just a few blocks off the strip to see a really amazing attraction and learn about the man called "Mr. Showmanship."
