The heart of Lancaster County, Lancaster Square was originally conceived as a meeting place for residents where they could socialize and get together for community activities.

To this aim, the square was designed as a brick and concrete ensemble 30 years ago.

However, city officials have recently given Lancaster Square an extensive facelift in keeping with changing times and taste. The renovated façade of the square comprises of a carousel pavilion, an eclectic gift shop, a museum and also a food and beverage area to catch a quick bite. These facilities are included in the magnificent 30,000 square foot Stoner Carousel.

The revitalized Lancaster Square also combines an impressive performance area with the serenity of a tranquil green environ in the form of a stage which also serves as a terraced area which is surrounded by sylvan lawns and verdant groves.

The Lancaster Square is also home to the Lancaster Urban Entertainment Center which includes designated restaurant and bar areas, a game arcade, recreational activities and even a banquet and meeting space. You can also visit the outdoor café, spread over 2,000 square feet, along with extensive retail areas where you can to satiate their binging urges.

The Square also includes a park named the Binns Park, which features a water park, complete with water jets and interactive games. The park has also been reconstructed with careful attention to ensure that no chemicals or pesticides are used in its maintenance and landscaping.
