The Hands-on House Children's learning museum, opened in 1987, is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to creating a fun learning environment for children.

Designed for children ages 2-10, adults and children play together to make learning fun. They offer many interactive exhibits, each with a special theme, like the Mostly Make-Believe exhibit, where you can soar off to the world of make-believe where and indulge in play and discovery, or stop off at the Rainbows End, a creativity lesson that will let you use design and color to build 2D and 3D art. There is also Marty's Machine Shop. Here you will learn about gears, pulleys and wheels, and how they all work together. The E-I-E-I-Know exhibit will teach you about Lancaster's farmland and how the farmers grow food. Plus, many more.
