The Douglas County Public Library is made up of central library and one branch library, (Lake Tahoe Branch Library) and one book return location (South County Book Return). The Douglas County Public Library, including the Lake Tahoe Branch Library, has more than 108,000 printed materials, 2,700 plus audio materials, approximately 2,400 video materials and 225 print subscriptions.
