Café Fiore hosts wedding parties and receptions during April and May and October and November. Custom menus are available for these wedding parties and receptions.
Nick Ashmore owns the restaurant. He, and his self-taught chef, Gilbert Ruelas, create the menus that have inspired people to revisit the restaurant over and over again.
Food critics who have been to the restaurant say that it has the second-best garlic bread in the world. (No one seems to know where the first-best garlic bread is made.) Café Fiore's house specialty is eggplant crepes.
The eggplant crepes are four thinly sliced eggplant rounds that are stuffed with smoked salmon and grilled. The eggplant crepes are served with sun-dried tomato sauce and sherry cream.
A popular dessert is the house-made white chocolate ice cream with sliced strawberries. The restaurant sells more than 130 different wines. Entrees cost $13 to $28.
