Squaw Valley Lodge

The six mountain peaks surrounding the lodge not only are a breathtaking sight to gaze upon, but they also possess some of the deepest snow in the world. People come from all over the globe to experience the thrill of these slopes which hosted the 1960 Winter Olympics. Being less than a block from the Squaw Valley Village, guests will also be within easy reach of abundant dining, shopping, and nightlife options. In the summer, check out the different hiking and mountain biking trails that are just a chairlift ride or short walk away. You may also want to check out the river rafting opportunities in Truckee or the beaches of Lake Tahoe.

This ski resort has every service imaginable to ensure that your vacation reaches its maximum potential. If it has been a long day on the mountain, then relax in one of the six on-site hot tubs, or schedule a swedish massage along with other soothing body treatments. The accommodation's fitness center has cardio and weight machines as well as free weights and yoga equipment. Kids will enjoy the ping pong tables, board games, and the seasonal outdoor pool. Retreats, conferences, and other events can rent out  the Ponderosa Room which can house up to 80 people, or the Granite Chief Room, perfect for smaller groups and presentations.   

Suite options range from studios to three bedroom suites that can accommodate up to six people depending on your group's needs. All units have a spacious layout that include a living area as well as a kitchenette or full gourmet kitchen. Coffee makers in the room come with complimentary San Francisco Bay French Roast, and the bathrooms are stocked with Gilchrist & Soames Bee Kind bath amenities. Other services included a color satellite TV, DVD/VCR, queen sofa bed, and high speed internet. Washer and dryer facilities are located either in the suite, or nearby.
