If your children are fans of skiing, then the Torchlight Parade in Lake Tahoe, CA is a great way for them to herald the New Year.
For children aged 10 and up, the chance to ski through the Racecourse run with their own holiday torch will give them memories to last a lifetime.
Proud parents get to watch from the sidelines with a DJ and snack bar as their little ones make their way down the slopes.
This event is also welcome to eight and nine-year-olds, but they need an adult to accompany them down the slopes and won't be provided with a holiday torch for safety reasons.
