Camping in Lake Tahoe, CA

Roast marshmallows with the kids at Lake Tahoe's many different campgrounds. Elevated at 6300 feet, William Kent Campground provides campers with haphazardly scattered sites among shallow gullies and low ridges. Some are clustered together, some are quite private, but mostly the camp sites are well forested.

Campsites by the edge back up to homes. The camp host will help you with anything you need in the 95 sites. Flush toilets, fire pits and grills as well as piped water are available for campers to use. Fee to camp is $16.

Tahoe Valley Campground offers guests a bit of everything.  Stay in the natural surroundings of the Sierra-Nevadas and at the same time be near the country's greatest skiing, shopping, dining and casino resorts, along with the breathtaking beauty of the lake where the kids can get their fill of water sports, fishing and a beautiful backdrop that will stay with you forever.

Campground by the lake in South Lake Tahoe can accommodate RV's, has 157 campsites and provides campers with free showers, dump stations, sites either with or without electric, barbecue grills, picnic tables and fire rings.
