The tahoe queen iswhere i married the love of my life 25years ago today, july 4th 2018. Like any couple it has been up, and down but the amazing journey began on the second deck of the that lovily ship. I was even shocked to see my step son owen get to stear the boat for a half hour, and it was so cute to watch captain jack help 10 year old autistic owen understand a boat that big. It changed all our lives.

Tip: Bring the whole family on those cruises, priceless.

We are a family of 6 from utah. We enjoyed our lunch cruise and would love to go back and do a dinner cruise with entertainment. We were taken across to emerald bay, which is beautiful. The lunch cruise offers sandwiches, snacks and beverages. They show an informative movie and the guide explains things along the way. We seen an eagles nest, a small tea castle and heard a story about a sailor. There is a house there on the beach that you can take a tour of, which we wouldn't have known about if we wouldn't have taken the cruise. So the next day we drove around the lake to take the trail down and do the tour of the house on the beach. It was fun, relaxing and entertaining.

We enjoyed the day cruise, not the dinner cruise. Buuuttt, getting into the docking area and parking was a nightmare. We went on a week-end and couldn't make a left turn off of highway 50 for quite a while. They need to have some one out there to help people to make the turn.

I would have given 5 stars but the crew started cleaning the tables and vacuuming while we all were still on the cruise! It would have been nice also if they dimmed the lights in the lower cabin so we could look out and see the water since it was already dark and we had another 45 minutes on the queen. Food was excellent, enjoyed the history by the captain.

It's was loads of fun! Highly recommend it. I gave it 4 stars because it was too short. But mostly because being vegetarian i had no protein with my dinner. Great veggies but i was hungry shortly after.

Overall i enjoyed the cruise. I was hoping for more of a dance floor for slow dancing but the live music was good. There was a little confusion about how the dinner seating was going to happen. A lot of people were unsure as to why we were sitting up on the upper deck until called down to dinner. The food was very good.

The cruise was beautiful and the staff was so friendly! We went on the afternoon cruise, so food and drinks were available for purchase at the two bars on the boat. Everything was amazing and it was the most beautiful day. The advertisements say the boat is glass bottom, but due to remodeling, the glass was covered by carpeting, so i don't think they should advertise themselves that way any longer. Otherwise - stunning!

Enjoyable trip on the tahoe queen with nice narration along the way to emerald bay. The video on the way back was ok, but could have done without. While the history presented in the video is interesting, it was hard to hear because everyone around was talking.

I was married on this ferry ride. Everything went so smoothly. The tahoe queen employees were just marvelous. The band was superb. They played marvelous songs and we danced the evening away. The food was also the best. The cake was great for us to do a cake greeting. All went well couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for your attentiveness also.

You should let people there is limited parking at the dock area and they should allow 30 mins to find a place to park and get to the boat. Valet parking was $25.00 and full. Bill

My friend and i were thrilled with our trip from ski run to vikingsholm. We had perfect seats in the bar area, indoors, with easy access to the rear of the paddle wheeler, where we could take pictures of the lake and all the water activities in which visitors engaged and listen to the captain's narration. Our waitress was very friendly and gave us peace of mind when she said she'd watch our belongings at our table when we went outside. All in all a perfect day!

My last cruise was 17 years ago. This cruise was by far the best. My grandchldren were in awe of all the activiety . My grandson even got to drive the ship. He will never forget.By the way he is only six years old and he didn't run into anything..... Great experience, one that we will never forget..

After boarding one of the mooring cables snapped and departure was delayed 40 minutes to repair it. When we finally departed the captain said there would be no extra charge for the 'extended' tour. No one laughed. The souvenior photo taken for optional purchase is over priced at $32.50. The tour was good, informative video played on the way back. Food and drink were good and the staff was friendly.

On this trip july 24,2011 was a more then a usual cruise to emerald bay. Besides the excellent food, good music, parking $8.00 (downer the 5th star). The captain was really informative about the area. Traveling around the lake car) in recent years i was always curious about emerald bay, now i know . The return from emerald bay was i interrupted by distress call from uscc. A person fell out of his sailboat aprox. 9:45 pm and a search the was on. Between the crew and guest on board we located the now swimmer. Last report he was doing good. Hates off to all that were there, job well done. This trip we will always remember.

It started out very hot and out table was in the sun. After we left port and were on the lake for awhile it cooled of somewhat on the bottom deck. The middle was a little hot but the band was great. The top was windy and cold but very nice to cool off at! The food was really good.
