Sugar Bowl offers skiers a historic setting in the Lake Tahoe region coupled with excellent and challenging trails for a memorable ski vacation. The resort was the first in the area to install a chair lift, and to this day remains privately owned. The top elevation peaks out at 8,383 feet with the resort featuring a wide array of trails. In total, there are 1,500 skiable acres, with 17% considered beginner, 45% intermediate and 38% reserved for advanced skill levels. Both skiers and snowboarders are welcome to the park, and both are sure to find a pleasing environment complete with a variety of trails and terrain to keep your stay from ever growing stale.
