The Mark Creek Recovery Program involved 200 K to 12 students who hand-pulled weeds and planted native shrubs and trees in a former parking lot. The area was transformed into the streamside Marysville Falls Eco Park.
Get Bear Smart! was a program dedicated to reducing the amount of problem bears that needed to be destroyed. The Clean Air Project created idle-free zones and involved working with the city to draft new bylaws about backyard and slash burning.
