Full-screen Tanglefoot Training Center in Kimberley, British Columbia is a community based fitness and wellness facility. It was established in October 2005.
The facility is owned and operated by Heather Bourchier. She is known as one of Kootenays's most respected fitness educators and trainers. She strives to make her fitness and wellness facility a warm place with a community atmosphere. First class service, qualified instructors, and friendly staff are a few characteristics of the facility.
Tanglefoot offers fitness education and training. It offers group classes, core strengthening, indoor cycling, pilates, yoga, mediation, cardio and wait training studios, and personal instruction.
The training center is located in a renovated church. It's painted in heritage colors and has natural wood accents throughout the facility. Satellite music is played in the background through a high-end audio equipment system. The center is divided into separate training studios.
There's the main studio where group classes take place. Between classes, members can use portable cardio and mat-based equipment in the studio.
The carpeted studio has cardio equipment such as elliptical trainers, treadmills, slide trainers, rowing machines, spinning bikes and upright and recumbent bikes.
The loft studio is dedicated to mat-based exercises like stretching, pilates, and yoga. The lower level contains the weight room and the men's and women's change rooms.
The center offers complimentary 30-minute equipment orientations with all new memberships. There are a variety of full-studio and drop-in membership rates available. Tanglefoot Training Center offers a 10% membership and program discount for full-time students, seniors, families and groups. The facility is open five days a week.
