Pride of Key West
If you're in the Key West, Florida area and want to experience a unique view of the Keys' underwater life, the Pride of Key West tour is beckoning you. This two-hour tour on a glass-bottom boat is unique in that you can actually see marine life right under your feet. You can also view the marine life from the oversized windows located on the lower deck.
The Pride of Key West glass-bottom boat can hold 110 people, but smaller groups are acceptable if you want a tour that is more private. The boat is 65 feet long and is equipped with all the modern conveniences, such as climate control, restrooms, a snack bar, and a upper and lower deck. There is a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available at the bar. Kick back and enjoy the view while your tour leader provides tidbits about the area, or jump in the water and go snorkeling.
The Pride of Key West tour runs every two hours. The first tour begins at 10:00 a.m. and the last tour starts at 6:00 p.m. Adults pay $35 for the tour and children over 13 years old pay $15. Take a Pride of Key West sunset tour that involves an excursion of the only live coral reef in the U.S. After the reef tour you can have a glass of champagne while enjoying the beauty of the setting sun. Adults pay $37 for the sunset tour and children over 13 years of age pay $18.50.
