If you are visiting Key West, you are probably looking to enjoy a vacation in which you treat yourself to relaxation, a fun time and good food and drink. It is easy to find all of these important vacation factors in a town like Key West.

If you bring your family to Key West, you can find many activities to entertain the kids as well as restaurants to cater to their tastes and yours. The Hard Rock Café is the perfect example of a great restaurant for you and your family. The Hard Rock Café in Key West is located in a three-story historic Victorian house in which there is a full bar and a fantastic balcony that overlooks Duval Street.

If you have dinner with your family at the Hard Rock in Key West, you can enjoy a great meal as well as libations while your kids enjoy hamburgers and sodas while listening to some of America's best hard rock music. The kids will love the memorabilia from America's rock band culture and you can regale your children with tales of the ghost of Robert Curry, the original owner of the house who supposedly still roams its halls.

While dining at a restaurant like The Hard Rock Café is fun for the kids while being a great place for your enjoyment as well, if you make the trip to Key West without the kids, you might prefer the completely grown-up experience of the Key West Pub CrawlThe Key West Pub Crawl is a walking tour that begins at the Red Fish Blue Fish and visits five pubs and bars in all. During this walking tour, you will visit all the local hotspots and get sampling of the flavors of Key West nightlife.

After leaving Red Fish Blue Fish during the Key West Pub Crawl, you will head to The Rum Barrel for your second drink of the two and a half hour tour. The Rum Barrel is a restaurant and bar where you can learn to drink like a pirate. It features an extensive collection of rum varieties that will educate you about the history, character and spirit of the drink of the Caribbean.

Your next stop on your lively journey of the Pub Crawl is the Schooner Wharf, an open air bar and grill where locals convene to hear great live music and enjoy American cuisine and plenty of drinks. By the time you get to the Schooner Wharf, you will probably have lost any shyness you had about talking with the others in your walking tour, and after sharing another drink with them at the Schooner Wharf, you will feel even more like fraternizing with the locals as well.

Your fourth drink of the walking tour will be from the Lazy Gecko, an air conditioned tropical island bar that serves twelve delicious daiquiris. After a great daiquiri, you only have to crawl across the street for the last pub on your crawl to Rick's. Rick's is a three fun bars in one, and if you have not had enough to drink yet, you can get an all you can drink bracelet here at a really great price.
