Some forty years ago, three young men, who happen to be brothers, started a small restaurant in the downtown area of Kansas City. Back in that time the brothers were famous for their breaded steak sandwich served on an Italian roll. Later the two brothers, Leroy and John ventured out and opened the Cascone's Italian Restaurant on Oak Street. Cascone's became famous for their tasty lasagna, which is the trademark of the restaurant today.
After the death of both brothers, John's wife Jennie continued to operate the restaurant with her children. The children currently operate and run Cascone's Italian Restaurant with great success. It continues to be a family owned business serving only the finest foods around Kansas City.
The restaurant is host to many events throughout the year and some previous events were Halloween Wine Tasting and Taste of the Mediterranean. They have entertainment and special events that can be attended by anyone. Cascone's continues to be a famous restaurant, which attracts visitors from everywhere.

Some of the foods you can have are deep-dish pizzas, toasted raviolis, shrimp cocktail and meatballs.
