If you are on vacation with your family, and you are looking for something different to do with your children, then going to the Hands On Children's Museum would be the place to go!  However, the Hands On Children's Museum is located in Jacksonville, Florida. 

Most often when people think of the hands on children's museum they right away think of a museum in which the kids can touch everything; which is very close to what you can do at the Hands On Children's Museum!  In fact, the museum is fabulous museum that uses indoor fun to teach all the young children about the world outside.  In fact, to start off the trip as fun, it is located in a building that is shaped like a castle; a favorite to almost all kids! 

Once inside the museum, you will find all the different types of exhibits that your children can play and interact with, as well as discover what the world is like.  Not only is the museum a play for children, but it is also a great place for the entire family!  Along with all the great exhibits, you will find many other things such as paint, puppets and toys all throughout the place. 

Some of the other things that are real hits are the Winn-Dixie little grocery store (where you can play on the cash registers, carts, and shop), Kids Mini Bank, and the Post Office.  For the real young children (3 and under), they have a "first adventures" room for them.

The best part of all is that the kids are learning while they are having fun; which is the most important thing of all!  In the end, if you and your children had fun; then it was definitely worth going to!
