It's open Monday to Thursday from 4:30 pm to 9:30 pm. On Friday it's open from 4:30 pm to 10:00 pm. On Saturday the restaurant is open from 11:30 am to 10:00 pm. Sunday it's open at 11:30 am and stays open until 9 pm.
Reservations are required for groups of eight or more. There's a call ahead service for smaller groups that can reduce or completely eliminate a visitor's wait time. Parties of 25 to 100 can reserve a quiet room with at least one week advance notice.
Clark's Fish Camp is a favorite place for locals to eat, and has been for many years. The restaurant started out as a bait and tackle shop and has grown to become a casual dining experience with a unique atmosphere and a large menu selection.
The menu includes quality seafood, giant 3 lb. prime rib and chicken. The atmosphere is rustic and there are hundreds of real stuffed animals well preserved by skilled taxidermists. There are all sorts of animals from lions to tigers to bears, to reptiles to birds and almost anything else.
Food portion sizes are large and there are more than 60 different appetizers alone. Appetizers include escargot, fried green tomatoes, onion and jalapeno loaf, scallops and conch fritters.
The main menu has staples such as house salads, macaroni and cheese, burgers and fish platters. For the more adventuresome, more exotic meals are available like ostrich, antelope, rattlesnake, and kangaroo.
