Teton County Fair has such a variety of activities and entertainment that everyone in your family will have a great time at this once a year event. The fair usually runs in July for one week. Many local and visitors to the area visit the Teton County Fair to really experience the culture of Jackson, Wyoming.
When coming to the fair you can expect to find many things to see and do. If you like to watch horse shows or compete in one, they have horse shows available. If you like to watch good old Rodeos they will have that scheduled as well. The organization 4-H has many events during the week including a Fashion Review and Horse Showmanship. They also host other livestock competitions such as Beef Weigh-In, Lambs and Goats Weigh-In and a Swine Weigh-In. Another popular event is Pole Bending and Barrel Racing. If you are interested in getting on a horse, the fair has Horse Trail Class for you to participate in. There is even Pig Wrestling and Calcutta.
There are also many things for the kids to do while at the fair. There is a coloring contest hosted by D.A.R.E. If your child would like to take a ride on a horse there are Pony Rides available. A Wildlife Show will be sure to excite and impress your little one. Magic shows are also a big hit for the younger crowd as well as adults. There are games for children with Flo the Clown.
