Comedy Face-off in Jackson, WY is a great new form of entertainment provided by traveling comedy troupes. You've never seen a comedy show quite like this multi-person improvisational ball of fun. Many say it's a lot like the television show "Who's Line Is It Anyway?". For those unfamiliar with this television show, you have to see the Comedy Face-off to understand and believe it. It's a very competitive but fun game where two teams battle head to head for laughs and applause from the audience. They get their points based on how the audience loves them. The audience comes up with the songs, games and scenes that the teams have to make up then and there. There is no rehearsal because everything is live. The teams have to perform on the spot with whatever the audience suggests. There's even a referee that will call "fouls" against each team from time to time.
It's only fitting that the word 'comedy' is in their title because you'll find yourself laughing more than you have in a long time. Admission is a very reasonable $16 for advance tickets and $18 at the door. They open every Tuesday through Saturday. Mondays you can go there to see a variety of guest comedy acts. They are located in the bottom floor of the Pink Garter Plaza right off town square. This is great entertainment where you can feel safe bringing young children, as they'll also enjoy the fun and laughter.
