Wildlife, Art & Sleigh Expedition
Wildlife, Art & Sleigh Expedition
The one-of-a-kind Wildlife, Art and Sleigh expedition combines a wildlife exploration of Grand Teton National Park, a sleigh ride, and a tour of the National Museum of Wildlife Art. The expedition starts by exploring numerous wildlife observation opportunities which surround Grand Teton National Park and Bridger-Teton National Forest with an experienced Wildlife Expeditions biologist. The Wildlife Art and Sleigh expedition biologists then use their expertise to locate bighorn sheep, bison, coyotes elk, deer, moose, and trumpeter swans for your viewing pleasure. For lunch, the expedition then proceeds to the National Museum of Wildlife Art and the Rising Sage Café, which overlooks the 20,000-acre National Elk Refuge. After touring the Museum's galleries of fine paintings, sculptures and photography devoted to wildlife, the expedition ends with a horse drawn sleigh ride and journey amongst the 7000 -10,000 elk that typically winter on the Refuge.
