The furniture made by John is a unique style of rustic furniture that is hand crafted. The construction of this furniture comes from the huesos (branches) of coconut palm trees. This furniture is designed to be not only attractive but also strong and durable. John feels that when people buy furniture it should last them as long as possible. He puts these thoughts too work when he makes his furniture. The huesos are coated with clear varnish for protection and durability. The interior framework of the furniture is finished with cedar varnish and the parts are put together with screws. The furniture is then given a protective treatment to prevent insects from destroying the wood. The floor cabinets and tables have ceramic tile tops to give them more durability and low maintenance.
