If you enjoy Mexico food (who doesn't?)and love to have a good time, Bandido's in Ixtapa, GR is definitely a place you want to visit on your trip to Mexico. They're easy to find on Calle Cinco de Mayo in the downtown section of Zihuatanejo Mexico. If you see the Artisan's market, you're in the right location as Bandido's is right across the street.
From the moment you walk into Bandido's and hear their live entertainment, you'll be glad you came. Live music is there every night Monday through Saturday. You can go there every night and not hear the same music twice as they have a great variety for tropical tunes from DJ Doro, Mexican music like salsa or Cuban music such as meringue. They have a variety of different musicians and groups that are full of talent and keep the customers listening while they eat, dancing or just having a great time.
They also have a satellite sports bar so the men won't feel they have to miss their great sports events. The sports events are in English so tourists from the states will be able to enjoy them to the fullest. With the exception of May through October when they are closed on Sundays, they are open seven days a week.
Bandido's takes pride in their specially made drinks, using only their own recipes. Speaking of recipes, they have a great menu for your dining pleasure. Some of their specials are Mocajetes in your choice of chicken, beef, fish or shrimp; shrimp or fish tacos; grilled lobster; tuna medallions with sesame seed and pork chops cooked in mushroom sauce. They offer many other items to satisfy your palate.
