Adventure on the Island

Adventure on the Island offers Ixtapa travelers an active way to explore the many exciting aspects of the area for a tour experience that is sure to invigorate and educate. Your journey will begin with a four-mile bike ride that will showcase a variety of flora and fauna representative of the area and provide a great warm-up for the day's adventure. Your scenic bike ride will take you to Playa Linda, where you'll board a water taxi headed to Ixtapa Island. Once at the island, you'll have the chance to kayak and snorkel as you enjoy the tropical setting of the island and beautiful underwater world.

While on Ixtapa Island adventurers will be treated to lunch at a restaurant by the beach for a peaceful time of replenishing, and reflecting upon your morning's journeys. After lunch, you'll board the water taxi and travel back to Playa Linda where you'll be treated with a visit to the area's crocodile pit! Finally, you'll bike another four miles to the beginning of your day's adventure. If you'd like to stay active while experiencing all that Ixtapa has to offer, then turn your sightseeing into Adventure on the Island.
