University Park in Indianapolis, IN When it comes to the University Park, it is not what you would expect.& The University Park is a place that now serves for a variety of things. In fact, some of the things that are on the University Park are a seminary, churches, and also the city's first high school. During the Civil War, the Union troops had used the land for practicing drilling.
Today, the University Park is the size of one square block that is surrounded by skyscrapers and everything else that has to do with a city. However, no matter where the location is, it still has many things that are beautiful within it! In fact, one very beautiful thing that you will come upon in the park is a flowing fountain that is manicured with Japanese Yews. Some of the other beautiful things in the park are all the well-kept, mowed park area that has scattered trees, different flower beds, decorative statues (such as the Depew Fountain) as well as all the different types of animals amongst it.
Some of the animals that you can see in the University Park are mainly migratory birds. Therefore, some of the main bird species that have been found are the Eastern Wood Pewee, Chipping Sparrow, Peregrine Falcon, American Woodcock, Red-headed Woodpecker and also Lincoln's Sparrow among many others.
