As for the location of the Crispus Attucks Museum, it is actually located in the back side of the Crispus Attucks High School; which is located on Martin Luther King Jr. Street.
When going inside of the museum, you will be able to see many different things that show for the history. In fact, you will be able to share many of the memories of the first all African American high schools in Indiana from looking at all the exhibits. The exhibits that you will see range anywhere from 1927-1986. As for the exhibits themselves, they are to show the creation of the school as well as the highlights from different students, faculty members and community leaders.
When visiting the museum, you will also be able to see all the old year books from the years of 1928-1986 (which is one of the collections in the museum). In fact, all the yearbooks from 1970-1986 are now being sold; which would be a great piece of history to own if you went to that school during those years! Along with the yearbooks, you will also be able to see many different sports trophies, uniforms, banners, photographs and memorabilia. In fact, the museum has 4 different galleries as well as over 70 exhibits to view.
If you were interested in visiting the museum, you will be able to go Monday through Friday's from 10 am until 2 pm. However, if you were hoping to get a guided tour, you will have to make an appointment.
