The Benjamin Harrison Presidential Museum (home) has many interesting items worth looking at. In fact, with over 2400 books and over 3700 artifacts, you will probably not get to see it all in one day. Of all the artifacts that are in the museum, The Harrison family owned ¾ of them. When you enter the home for a tour, you will find all the furnishings from the period when Harrison was alive. You will get to see ten rooms full of furnishings. The exhibits, however, will be found on the third floor, where there was originally a ballroom. It was customary in those days to have ballrooms on an upper level floor. Throughout the entire home, you will see dresses, textiles and artifacts of this kind hanging here and there. The exhibits are rotated every six months and you will see a new group of exhibits.
You will also find a gift shop for you to buy some souvenirs to take home with you. After all, who would believe you were inside a former President's home? They have china, books, toys and many miscellaneous items.
