In fact, the Alcatraz Brewing Co. had brought the sights and cuisine from San Francisco to Indianapolis! Once inside, you will see that the restaurant has décor of a lot of metal (or so it seems!); as if you were in a correctional facility.
When it comes to ordering; you will be able to order from a large selection of beers that are brewed on the premise (in the shining copper brew kettles and fermentation vessels), as well as an excellent selection of food. Some of the food you can choose from are appetizers such as BBQ wings, fried potstickers, spinach and artichoke dip, a choice of soups, fresh salads such as an asian chicken salad, smoked turkey cobb, or a Greek salad, your choice of many different burgers and sandwiches, hand-tossed pizza's and calzones, as well as many different kinds of entrees and excellent desserts. As for the drinks, there is also a large selection to choose from; alcoholic to non-alcoholic drinks. In fact, they also come in different sizes, as well!
The Alcatraz Brewing Co. is definitely a restaurant that is worth going to; especially if you want to try some really good beer; that is freshly made and able to take on the go!!
