As for the Texans, they've been making the major moves needed to put themselves back in contention. The offense is still a bit thin, but vast improvements have been made on the defensive end. Defensive end Mario Williams, the #1 pick in the draft, is expected to make his presence felt from the gate. Other additions, such as linebacker Sam Cowart, won't make the Texans a Super Bowl contender, but should add enough of a boost to surprise many of their opponents.
