Christmas tour of the President Benjamin Harrison Home

Open the door to President Benjamin Harrison's Home and step back in time to 1888 where you'll experience a truly unique Christmas tour. President Harrison and some of his family from Ohio will be there to greet you and offer their good wishes to you. His household staff will gladly show you around the historic 16 room Italianate style home. Tours last approximately one hour. Visitors will see 10 rooms including the third floor ball room. While you are visiting, the entire house will be buzzing with the excitement of the Christmas season. The President Benjamin Harrison Home is located on the west side of North Delaware Street in Indianapolis, IN. Construction on the home began in 1874 and, excluding the years when he served in the Senate and as President of the United States, Benjamin Harrison lived in the home with his family until his death in 1901. The United States Department of Interior named the home a National Historic Landmark in 1964.
