The Crosby Fairgrounds in Crosby, Texas is the place that manages to make many children excited and happy each year as the visit their annual fair and rodeo. The Crosby Fair and Rodeo is a big deal to many people in the area, and anticipated by many. Texas is such a big state for rodeos, so it's only fitting that they would hold such an event in a well-maintained site such as the Crosby Fairgrounds in Crosby, Texas.
The Crosby Fairgrounds is also the place where the Christmas Festival is held each year. This year they are holding their 9th Annual Christmas Festival here. Some of the great events they have scheduled besides the carnival is the great cook off, craft and exhibitor show, Christmas musical entertainment, Christmas Parade, lighting of the Christmas tree and, of course, meeting Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus. Don't forget the wonderful and exciting Car show that will also be on display here at the Crosby Fairgrounds as part of their Christmas Festival.
Another event that took place this past year at the Crosby Fairgrounds is the Baytown Kennel Club's Dog show, which consisted of agility and obedience trials. This is always a large event for the Baytown Kennel Club so they couldn't have picked a better place to hold the event.
The Crosby Fairgrounds in Crosby, TX was the location of the Annual Czech Festival, which is sponsored by Crosby's Sacred Heart Church. This is a wonderful opportunity for those of Czechoslovakian heritage to learn more about as well as celebrate their culture. There is always lots of food, games and fun at this Festival, which is in its 66th year. They also put on an auction, raffles and provide live entertainment. If you've never been to one of these, put in on your itinerary for next year.
Although this is an outdoor fairgrounds, they do have some restrictions such as coolers, glass containers, bottled water or soda, ice or video cameras.
