Off-roading first became popular in the 1970's, and it's popularity continues to grow at Superlift Off Road Vehicle Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas. In the early years of off-roading, there was an unofficial trail system, that was eventually closed down by the property owners. In 2001, a group of business men, enthusiasts, and conservationists purchased many acres with the intent to develop a true off-roading destination. Today, this park includes much of the original "unofficial" trail system, along with new trails and obstacles with varying degrees of difficulty and danger. Visitors have the opportunity to tear through almost any sort of terrain they can imagine.
Guests can climb hills, splash through mud pits, ramble over rock gardens, tear through water crossings, and much more. All trails are mapped and well maintained, but not so well maintained that it makes it easy. They are also rated with a level of difficulty, so you know just what you are getting yourself into. Campsites are available, there are also restrooms, a convenient store, and an ATV training area. There is a fee to get into the park, but that fee includes a map. This is a family-oriented environment.
