Arkansas Walk of Fame, Hot Springs, AR

This famous stretch of sidewalk, surrounding the city's visiting center was established in 1996, and honors those who made a miraculous success in their field, who also have established roots in Arkansas, or recognize it as their home. The Walk of Fame sits in the center of the historic downtown district, and for each inductee, a plaque is erected into the sidewalk. This Walk of Fame is a not-for-profit organization and is supported by private donations, sponsors of the inductees, and corporations.

Potential nominees for this year are: Sam Walton, Billy Bob Thornton, Mark Martin, Paul "Bear" Bryant, Scottie Pippin, Dick Powell, John Grisham, Charlie Rich, John H. Johnson, and Mary Steenburgen.
