Don't be fooled by the name, The World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day Parade packs more than enough cheer and exciting side activities to make your St. Patrick's Day the celebration of the year! The parade's name stems from its procession down Bridge Street, which the local Ripley's museum dubbed, "The Shortest Street in the World." But despite the novel name of the celebration, you're sure to find plenty to keep you entertained.
A celebrity Grand Marshal always leads off the festivities, with previous year's celebs including Norm from Cheers. Other exciting sights within the parade include floats, fireworks, the Irish Order of Elvi and various other marchers. Aside from the parade, the day also features a pub crawl that annually sees much of Hot Springs in cheer and revelry throughout the evening.
