Magic Springs Theme Park and Crystal Falls. This theme park is located in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains. Then head on over to the water park (included in admission) to ride the slides and wave pools. The kids are sure to have a day they won't soon forget.

Arkansas Alligator Farm and Petting Zoo. If your family is looking for adventure, this is the place to be. At the Arkansas Alligator Farm and Petting Zoo, you will find over 300 alligators, some up to ten feet long! You'll also see deer, pygmy goats, llamas and other animals. The museum is home to a variety of monkeys, mountain lions and 100-lb turtles. While there, you have to see the "Mer-Man" that was featured on Ripley's Believe-It-Or-Not. This is one stop that you cannot leave off your list. The farm is open year round, so anytime is a good time to visit.

Arkansas Walk of Fame. Arkansas isn't only home to beautiful scenery and exciting attractions, it's also the home-town of many famous individuals. The Arkansas Walk of Fame honors the individuals who have made great contributions to society in their lifetimes. Recent inductees include President Bill Clinton, Dr. James Dobson and General Douglas MacArthur. This is a great way to sneak some education to your kids while on vacation.
