Highway 7 becomes Central Avenue as it passes through Hot Springs. Central Avenue will lead into the Downtown Historic District and Bathhouse Road. Another main road in Hot Springs is 270, or Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Expressway. This takes you past Oaklawn Park and connects with Central Avenue. Other key streets include Albert Pike (Highway 70), Malvern (270B), Grand Avenue, and, a bit further from the downtown district, Bull Bayou Road and Blacksnake Road. A classic way to get around such a historic town is by using the Hot Springs Intracity Transit Trolley Services. This trolley rides on rubber tires instead of the standard metal rail and provides service throughout the entire historic downtown area. This is a truly unique way to get around this truly unique town. Little Rock National Airport... To fly into Hot Springs, you can fly directly in via Mesa Airlines from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Otherwise, Hot Springs is served by Little Rock National Airport. Little Rock National Airport is serviced by 10 major airlines and offers nonstop and one-stop flights form a multitude of locations. Both long-term and short-term parking are available at the airport. On-site restaurants, video arcade, newsstands and shoe shine services are available at the terminal. On-site car rental is also available from Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, National, and Thrifty. Shuttle Service is available from Hot Springs Shuttle and Central Arkansas Transit offers public transportation and bus service.
