Located on Jonestoen Road in Dauphin County, the Westhanover Winery is the only winery in the region.
The winery was established about seven years ago and is known renowned for producing some of the regions most exquisite wines. The 26 varieties that are produced here include the Concord S. S., the White Baco noir S. S., the cabernet franc dry red, the cabernet sauvignon dry red, the red raspberry S. S. and the sour cherry and the villard blanc ice wine. You can even find a bottle of Catawba, a Chambourcin dry red or even a concord dry red tucked away in the wine cellar.
All the varieties that are produced here are of the highest caliber and many of the wines are award winners. You can visit the Westhanover Winery between 11 am and 6 pm to take a guided tour through the premises. Here, you will learn the intricate process that goes into the making of these exquisite Pennsylvania wines and can even sample a few varieties to experience the diversity and yet the rich harmony in the flavors.
