The Maize Quest is a uniquely themed amusement park, where the attractions are literally made of maize!
The park aims to encourage children to participate in constructive activities that will develop their cognitive skills while also letting them have a whale of a time. At the Maize Quest, you can meander into the world's first maze built of living bamboo shoots. Here, you can venture through the five space-themed stations on a fortune telling game. Little feet can also peddle around a pint sized track as they race towards the finish line or bounce around in the giant blocks of hay. For a quieter option, you can even visit the Turf Maze which allows you to take a peaceful, pleasant walk in the labyrinth like maze. You can even climb to a high watchtower for a bird's eye view of the cornfield and all the attraction it houses and then launch down an enormous 80 foot long tube slide.
Your little ones will also enjoy diving into a huge corn box, which is more like the proverbial sand box... the only difference is that the sand has been replaced by kernels of corn. If you're the adventurous kind, you can even strap on a dog collar around your ankle and try to figure your way out through the invisible fences, without setting the collar beeping.
The Maize Quest believes in the family getting together to solve puzzles and win races as a unit, and many of the activities at the amusement park are designed accordingly. You can visit the park between 10 am and 8 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, 1 pm to 7 pm on Sundays and from 10 am to 6 pm on Holidays. The Maize Quest makes sure that they have something to do for every season, which makes the price a delightful place to visit at any time of the year.
A visit to the Maize Quest will cost you $9 if you're above 13 and $7.50 if you're between the ages of 2 and 12 years.
