Hinterland Brewery in Green Bay is a microbrewery, lounge and restaurant.& The award-winning Brewery hand-crafts seven ales on the premises, including the signature 'Hinterland Pale Ale'. Guided tours of the Brewery are available every Saturday at 3.00pm. The cost of $5 includes two free beers in the lounge after the tour. The beers include German wheat beers, pale ales, stouts, a creamy English ale and American wheat ales. These can be enjoyed in the stylish and comfortable lounge which is open from 4.00pm onwards, and has a happy hour until 6.00pm.
The lounge has a food menu that includes sushi, carpaccio, wood-fired pizzas, a selection of cheese, fruits and charcuterie, and calamari. Entrees include fish tacos, wood-fired kobe beef sliders,and chicken pad Thai.
The restaurant, open from 5.00pm to 10.00pm, has an extensive dinner menu. Choose from a range of hot and cold starters such as the tempura jumbo tiger shrimp, soup of the day, or a trio of duck. Entrees include herb crusted Australian barramundi, wood-fire grilled Angus beef ribeye, and caraway-dusted venison. Tempting desserts to follow include apple and fennel creme caramel, cheesecake terrine and chocolate pistachio beignets.
The wine list features over 100 red, white, sparkling and dessert wines from the USA and abroad. Enjoy a drink following your meal — a wide selection of coffee, teas, ports, single and blended Scotches and straight Bourbons are available. The lounge, seating up to 50 people, can be hired for special occasions such as birthday celebrations, receptions and corporate events.
