Every state has some major attraction that has everyone in the state as well as nearby states willing to travel just to get to them. Bay Beach Amusement Park, in Green Bay, WI is such an attraction. Started in 1892, Bay Beach Amusement Park has gone through many changes and advancements to get to be what it is today. It has 16 amusement rides such as the Yo-Yo, Giant Slide, and Kid's Jeep, Bumper Cars, Sky Fighter, Ferris wheel, Helicopters, the Scrambler and many more.
The amusement park is open on weekends from May 1 through September and everyday from Memorial Day through Labor Day. In addition to the amusement park, Bay Beach offers a live pony ring, volleyball courts, wading pool and a softball diamond. It's no surprise that Bay Beach Amusement Park serves over one million guests each year.
Whether it's family events, school groups or private parties, Bay Beach has shelters that can be rented for these get-togethers. There are enough activities for everyone to do what they enjoy most. Grilling outdoors is allowed (bring your own grill) so you can have that family picnic at the end of the day when you're tired from all the rides. If you choose to not do the cooking, Bay Beach has concession stands available which offer cotton candy, soda, hamburgers, hot dogs, French fries, pizza and many more items you've come to expect at fairs, carnivals and amusement parks.
