Take a step into the past to enjoy jousting, medieval artistry and of course great food at the Maryland Renaissance Festival.
While in most any other place in America glass blowing, jousting, and speeches from Kings would be out of place, in beautiful Revel Grove it's just business as usual.
This Renaissance Festival is set in a 16th century English Village, where every day the villagers are preparing for a visit from King Henry VIII himself- visitors are greeted by an address by him upon the park's daily opening.
Guests can stroll the site's 25 acres and expect to stuff themselves silly on such delicious, if not odd, treats as mutton, oversized turkey legs, and fish from the local fishmonger.
The Festival is open from August through October, 10am - 7pm.
