Halloween Festival at Dulles Town Center in Dulles, VA

Every October, the Dulles Town Center shopping mall just outside of Washington, DC holds its annual Halloween Festival. At this event, kids and their families are invited to take in musical and live performance entertainment, go trick-or-treating from store to store, and participate in a costume contest. This afternoon festival offers families a safe alternative to nighttime trick-or-treating in the city. The event is usually held on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon on or around Halloween.

Around 2 PM, the mall offers family Halloween-themed theater and musical live entertainment in the Center Court. Store-to-store trick-or-treating begins around 4 PM, with each store giving out candy for the kids and coupons and special offers for the parents. The event wraps up in the evening with a costume contest, where kids can win gift certificates and prizes from various stores in the mall.
