Fright Fest at Six Flags America
Ghouls and Ghosts will haunt the park this October, chilling and thrilling in varying degrees of scare-tastic frights. Each year, Six Flags America hosts an exciting event called Fright Fest. This annual event takes place around Halloween every year during the month of October. There are auditions held each year in the region to find the people who are the most capable of being the scariest, most frightening characters for Fright Fest, and Six Flags America only hires the best performers. There are many street characters that are hired to dress up in frightening and gory costumes and roam Six Flags America to frighten unsuspecting theme park visitors. There are more than 3,200 seasonal positions that are filled during festivals like Fright Fest at Six Flags America, from street performers to people to run the various attractions that are set up during the festival, all for the sake of a good scare
At Fright Fest, park goers will find ghosts, ghouls, goblins, witches, zombies, vampires, werewolves and many other terrifying characters from legend and lore. Often Fright Fest, like the other festivals at Six Flags America, has a corporate sponsor to ensure a fulfillingly frightful time. In addition to scary characters roaming the theme park, visitors can enjoy terrifying haunted houses and street entertainment and scary shows. Favorite rides will take place in the dark for an especially thrilling and creepy experience, and small children can trick or treat throughout the park.
The festival typically takes place throughout the month of October. It usually lasts the entire month before a new festival is featured. Fright Fest proves to be a very popular event year after year.
