Fiesta Musical at The National Zoo in Washington, DC

The National Zoo celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with an annual fiesta celebrating the rich history of the Hispanic and Latino cultures!

This is the perfect family event with animal demonstrations with zookeepers on hand to answer questions and talk about the animals, live Hispanic and Latino music from local performers, costumed dancers, traditional crafts, and Latin American foods. Zoo scientists will also be putting on demonstrations throughout the event to discuss field research being conducted in Latin American countries. Hispanic and Latino crafts will be for sale, including handmade jewelry, sweaters, clay sculptures, bags, finger puppets, and drums.
