DC Caribbean Carnival

For 11 years now, nearly 500,000 people have been gathering in Washington, DC for a Caribbean parade and festivities.

A vivid and colorful parade will kick off the festivities at 10 a.m. on June 24th, and the party will continue until 7 p.m. on June 25th. The parade is free to attend, but there is a small charge to get into the events at Banneker Field.

The parade includes 25 eclectic bands of masqueraders accompanied by the most amazing and infectious music. There will be vendors set up for your dining and snacking covenience and there will be booths set up for a little hands-on craft working for kids. This carnival is one of the fastest growing carnivals in North America, you can help to keep this statement true by stopping by and enjoying all the sights and sounds of the Caribbean while in Washington, DC.
