Annual Capital Jazz Fest at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD

Jazz lovers unite with the world's largest jazz festival featuring two full stages showcasing  the hottest contemporary Jazz artists. Located in the suburbs of DC in Columbia, MD in addition to hearing some the best Jazz artistis out there, you can also eat, relax, and shop. You'll enjoy arts & crafts at the Festival Marketplace as well as a variety of tasty dishes at Food Fest. There are also many pre-festival parties and even after parties. Two contests are also featured at the event. A Jazz Poetry Slam and Capital Jazz Challenge both offer prizes for the winning participant.
