This tour also takes visitors across the river to Arlington for a tour of the somber and moving Arlington National Cemetery, where you can pay tribute at the Kennedy Gravesite, Tomb of the Unknowns, and others. All Day Washington, DC Interior Buildings Tour
Was not forewarned of length of time waiting / standing to get into Capitol. That site was NOT worth the hassle. Otherwise, loved the rest of it.

This was a nice tour. Our guide, Willie, was very knowledgable. I think that more time was needed at Arlington National Cemetary as well. It was a big rush there. The changing of the guards was nice, but being short and being behind taller school aged children, I didn't see very much. My favorite site that was the Kennedy gravesites. I enjoyed the whole day and I slept very well that night. The tour includes lots of walking so be sure to wear comfortable shoes.

The only major disappointment was failing to get into Mount Vernon. I 'lined up' to get into the estate, but feel it is unfair to have to waste one hour out of three 'lining up' again to visit the mansion. Obviously all paid visitors want to visit the mansion, so a time should be allocated as in Monticello.
