On the 1880 Train, ride aboard an old fashioned whistle tooting train between the towns of Hill City and Keystone, South Dakota. Ride the way they rode in the Old West and enjoy the remarkable scenery that characterizes the Black Hills' region.
At Mammoth Site of Hot Springs, you can journey way back in time to when mammoths, short faced giant bears and other prehistoric creatures roamed the area. Observe a mammoth dig in progress and observe a working paleontology laboratory. You will also be able to view portions of where the movie Hidalgo was filmed. The Journey Museum will acquaint you with several stages of the region's history. See Lincoln, Washington, Jefferson and Teddy Roosevelt carved in stone on the face of Mount Rushmore. Learn about the sculptor Gutzon Borglum, the man behind the faces.
