International Association of Fire Fighters Motorcycle Tribute Ride in Deadwood, South Dakota

Each year, the International Association of Fire Fighters honors those who have fallen in the line of duty with a national rally and memorial service. The ride honors of the 343 New York Fire Department's firefighters who died in service during the September 11, 2001 tragedy.

The IAFF Motorcycle Group first held the national rally in 2007, in conjunction with the IAFF's Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial, taking place in Colorado Springs. More than 500 riders from IAFF-MG rode to the memorial by way of legendary Sturgis, spending three days in the scenic beauty of the Black Hills.

Riders enjoy the vast expanses, curves and straight-aways of the road punctuated by the famous carved-from-the-land Mount Rushmore National Monument and Crazy Horse Memorial.

Back in town, take part in the pub crawl and dice run. The event starts at the VFW hall and ends at Loud American Roadhouse. There is no fee to take part, but participants must be members or alumni of the IAFF or IAFF-Motorcycle Group.
