Hotel Alex Johnson - Rapid City
We just stayed at the Alex Johnson Hotel and LOVED it! The rooms are clean, the decor unique and the history very interesting. The Landmark Restaurant did a wonderful job with our dinner and the food was very tasty!
Can't wait to go visit again.

I guess it was our fault not realizing Deadwood is a Casino town!! They were not able to give us a nonsmoking room as we had requested but after a few minutes in the room it didn't seem to be too bad. They offered to put an air filter in the room as well but we didn't need it. They were very good about fulfilling our requests for a rollaway bed and extra pillows.
